Started as a side project after watching too many startup founders struggle with accountants who didn't understand their business model. Literally began in a shared WeWork space with three clients who took a chance on us.
Dove headfirst into crypto accounting when a client asked if we could help with their ICO. Spent months learning the ins and outs - turns out there was a massive gap in the market. Became one of the first Canadian firms to specialize in digital asset accounting.
Hit 50 clients and had to actually get serious about scaling. Moved into proper office space on Homer Street, brought on specialized CPAs who got the tech world, built out our own internal tools because nothing on the market did what we needed.
Crypto winter hit hard, but we helped our clients navigate some rough waters. This is when we proved our worth - not just number crunchers but actual strategic partners who gave a damn about keeping businesses afloat during downturn.
